Arts &Events Oxfordshire Autumn 2010 As the nights get longer and the weather colder, our thoughts turn to autumn and the approaching festive season. With that in mind, we celebrate the last of the festivals that marked the summer so prominently and welcome instead a new series of events, exhibitions and performances, all designed to add sparkle to those noticeably colder days and nights. As expected, there are plenty of superb events planned to entertain and inspire the whole family. Highlights include the re-opening of Pegasus Theatre and Oxford Open Doors in September, music festival OX4 in October and, as we begin the countdown to Christmas, the many festive light switch-on events, pantomimes and carol concerts that help to make the season so special.
